    To deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, scientifically plan key tasks, and propel all aspects of the company’s work to a new level and achieve new accomplishments, Xiangtan Electrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) held its 2023 Work Conference on February 4 in Shaoshan.

    Liu Ganjiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, along with members of the leadership team, mid- and senior-level executives, heads of departments and offices, and heads of branches and subsidiaries attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Long Shaofei, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager.

    Before the meeting, Liu Ganjiang led all participants in a ceremony to lay a wreath at the bronze statue of Comrade Mao Zedong.

    At the meeting, participants discussed issues, offered suggestions, and proposed measures—drawing on their own work experiences—focusing on key areas such as the company’s development. Everyone shared their views freely, engaged in open exchanges, and collectively outlined a comprehensive blueprint for 2023’s work.

    Long Shaofei pointed out that in 2022, despite a complex and challenging economic environment, the company overcame numerous pressures by deepening its efforts in three key business segments, optimizing its organizational structure, and innovating its operational model. As a result, all major business indicators reached new historical highs. 2023 is an exceptionally important year. We must approach our work with four guiding principles—“recession and growth, challenges and opportunities, steadfastness and innovation, stability and development”—to ensure that we successfully achieve all the tasks and targets set forth by the Party Committee of the company. In the new year, the company will “pursue reform and innovation, demonstrate bold initiative, promote coordinated collaboration, and wholeheartedly build a world-class enterprise,” jointly creating a bright future for high-quality development.

    Liu Ganjiang emphasized: In the new year, the company must be market-oriented, innovate its development strategies, fully harness the spirit of teamwork, and continuously enhance its core competitiveness. We must boost our confidence in development, move forward with solid and pragmatic actions, deepen our focus on our core business to build a robust industrial chain, firmly uphold our primary responsibilities, intensify efforts to integrate high-quality resources, and thereby propel the company toward high-quality development. We must always keep in mind the “three imperatives,” remain steadfast in our original aspirations and mission, actively play the role of a fighting fortress, lead the company to achieve new breakthroughs in production and operations, and contribute to the construction of a new, modernized Xiangtan under socialism.
