    Xiangtan Electrochemical Launches 2025 “Safe Production Month” Campaign

    To deeply carry out the nationwide ... During the 24th “Safety Production Month” campaign, we will firmly establish the concept of safe development, strengthen bottom-line thinking on safety, enhance safety awareness, and ensure that safety responsibilities are effectively implemented. On May 29, the Xiangtan Electrochemical Safety Production Committee held the launch ceremony for the 2025 “Safety Production Month” and the June Safety and Environmental Protection Meeting, themed “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us.” Attending the meeting were Long Shaofei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, as well as first-level responsible persons from all departments, branches (subsidiaries), and process sections, along with safety management personnel.

    At the launch ceremony, Long Shaofei delivered a speech. The “Safety Commitment Letter by the Principal Person in Charge of the Enterprise,” duly signed, officially kicks off Xiangtan Electrochemical’s 2025 Safety Production Month activities.

    At the meeting, all participants watched and studied the video: “Life Is Paramount.” — Study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on work safety, the 2025 National Work Safety Month promotional video, and the safety warning film on production accidents.

    Long Shaofei made arrangements for the next phase of safe production work. He emphasized:

    First, deepen safety education and fortify the ideological defense line. Safe production is the lifeline of enterprise development and, even more so, the cornerstone of employee well-being. All units must completely abandon...     Second, focus on identifying hidden dangers and establish a long-term mechanism. Hidden dangers are the spark that ignites accidents, and identifying and addressing these hazards is key to preventing problems before they occur. The company will increase the rewards for reporting hidden dangers, and all departments should actively promote and publicize the “Hidden Danger Reporting Reward System,” encouraging every employee to become a safety advocate. “Whistleblowers” forge a robust defense against security risks.

    Third, foster a strong safety culture and build consensus among all employees. A safety culture is the cornerstone of an enterprise’s long-term stability and prosperity. The safety management department should take the Safety Production Month campaign as an opportunity to carry out in-depth thematic activities promoting safety culture, foster the integration of safety culture into all aspects of work, extend safety principles to every workplace scenario, and create a safe and civilized corporate atmosphere.

    Fourth, we must firmly enforce safety responsibilities and safeguard the safety bottom line. To take With a sense of responsibility that keeps us constantly on edge and an execution capability that ensures we never let go of any task, we’re weaving a robust safety net.     It is reported that this year’s Safety Production Month activities will adopt a combination of online and offline approaches to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses, instructions, and directives on safety production. The activities include specialized safety training, emergency response plan drills, a competition for emergency equipment and facilities, and comprehensive inspections for potential safety hazards.
