    Jiang Haisong – An Analysis of the “Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees in Hunan Province”

     

    On the afternoon of August 3, Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Electrochemical Group”) held the Hunan Province Women Workers’ Quality Education Lecture Series in the large conference room on the third floor of the Jiuhua Management Committee Building. Professor Jiang Haisong, an associate professor at the School of Law of Hunan University, provided an analysis of the “Special Provisions for Labor Protection of Female Workers in Hunan Province.”

     

    The “Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees in Hunan Province” came into effect on March 8, 2020. The implementation of these new provisions reflects our province’s high regard for the protection of female employees’ rights and interests, as well as our province’s steadfast commitment to a people-centered approach and prioritizing people’s livelihoods.

     

    During the class, Professor Jiang Haisong combined trending topics from Weibo and allusions from the Four Great Classical Novels to provide a detailed interpretation and analysis of the new Regulations. After more than two hours of learning, the female employees present gained a deeper understanding of the revised provisions and newly introduced policies concerning maternity insurance, infant and toddler care, labor protection, and other related areas. They enthusiastically remarked that the new policies are more in step with the times and demonstrate greater consideration and care for the physical and mental well-being of female employees.

     

    The implementation of this Women Employees’ Quality Lecture Series has broadened the horizons of female employees, enabling them to gain a more detailed understanding of their special rights and protections, thus helping them safeguard their physical and mental health. The event has received unanimous praise from the female employees.

     

    After their training, the female employees of the Electric Power Group will stride forward with even greater strength and determination on the path to achieving a leapfrog development for the Electric Power Group!
