On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Jingxi Xiangtan Electrochemical Technology Co., Ltd., Liu Ganjiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, led a delegation—including Xu Xigeng, Member of the Party Committee of the Xiangtan Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team stationed at the Municipal SASAC—and accompanied by Long Shaofei, Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and General Manager, as well as Cheng Xijun, Deputy Secretary of the company’s Party Committee and General Manager, along with other key members of the management team, to conduct an on-site research visit to the Jingxi base and hold a special commemorative event. By reviewing the company’s two-decade journey and achievements, they jointly planned for the future. A new chapter of high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

Liu Ganjiang and his delegation successively visited the Baise Municipal Government and the Jingxi Municipal Government to deliver special reports. Liu Ganjiang emphasized that Xiangtan Electrochemical has always kept in mind the strong support provided over the years by the municipal Party committees and governments of Baise and Jingxi. The Jingxi production base has long since become a core business segment and a strategic cornerstone for the company’s development. Looking ahead, the company will continue to deepen its comprehensive cooperation with Baise and Jingxi, focusing on the meticulous cultivation of the new energy materials industry, thereby helping to build a new energy materials industrial cluster with national influence. With more concrete measures and better performance, the company will repay the trust placed in it by local authorities and inject stronger momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.

At the Jingxi production base, Liu Ganjiang and his delegation went deep into the sites of the resource utilization pilot project, the slag yard, and the electrolysis line renovation project, inspecting the progress of these projects, the application of advanced technologies, and the status of safe production. They asked in detail about the key challenges and areas for optimization, and fully recognized the base’s explorations and achievements in resource recycling and technological upgrades.

Subsequently, the grand general meeting of all cadres at the Jingxi production base was held. Deputy directors of the base and management personnel at or above the level of chief engineer gathered together to discuss development and jointly plan for the future. At the meeting, heads of the business divisions and Lijin Company respectively reported on recent work progress, existing challenges, and the next steps in their work plans. With the theme “Carrying Forward 20 Years of Struggle, Jointly Painting a New Journey of High Quality,” the speech reviewed Jingxi Electrochemical’s journey of struggle over the past two decades, elaborated on the strategic positioning of the Jingxi base, and proposed that management thinking should evolve from “managing production well” to “driving value,” striking a balance between “preserving the status quo and fostering innovation,” and seizing early opportunities for development. Drawing on the Group’s overall development strategy, Long Shaofei put forward clear requirements and expressed earnest expectations for the subsequent work at the Jingxi base.

Liu Ganjiang delivered a concluding speech, reviewing the base’s journey over the past two decades—from starting from scratch to becoming strong and robust—and acknowledging the dedication and hard work of all employees. At the same time, he set a clear course forward. The development goals for the 15th Five-Year Plan call upon all cadres and employees to unite their hearts and minds, forge ahead with courage and determination, and promote the high-quality development of the base with higher standards, stricter requirements, and a more pragmatic work style.

That evening, the 20th-anniversary appreciation dinner for Xiangtan Electrochemical’s entry into Jingxi kicked off warmly.
