    Party History Study and Education Lecture Series

     

    According to the unified arrangement of the Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee, on the afternoon of May 25, 2021, Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Electrochemical Group”) held a municipal-level lecture on Party history study and education. Comrade Zhang Wenhong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Party Committee’s Publicity Department, member of the Xiangtan sub-team of the provincial delegation delivering the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, member of the municipal Party history study and education lecture group, and expert of the municipal government agencies’ touring lecture series, delivered a lecture titled “Drawing Wisdom and Strength for Advancement from the Party’s Centennial History.” The meeting was chaired by Comrade Tan XinQiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electrochemical Group. Attending the lecture were members of the Party committee leadership team, mid-level cadres, and secretaries of Party branches of Electrochemical Group based in Xiangtan. The meeting was also connected via video link to the Jingxi Electrochemical and Jingxi Lijin branches, enabling Party members and cadres at those branches to participate in the study together.

     

    In her presentation, Comrade Zhang Wenhong systematically reviewed the Communist Party of China’s century-long journey of struggle and its historic contributions from three perspectives: “deeply studying and comprehending General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on the Party’s history and fully recognizing the great significance of carrying out Party history education”; “carefully studying the fundamental works on Party history and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Communist Party of China’s glorious journey and historical contributions over the past century”; and “grasping profoundly the key points and essential aspects of Party history education and continuously drawing wisdom and strength from the Party’s glorious history to spur us forward.” The report not only demonstrated a high theoretical level and a holistic perspective but also provided an in-depth interpretation of the profound significance of Party history education. This was both a systematic, well-documented, vivid, and engaging lecture on Party history—and a moving, enlightening, and inspiring special session on Party spirit education. It plays a vital role in guiding the Electrochemical Group’s efforts to carry out Party history education, implement new concepts, put new requirements into practice, and further enhance the quality of its work.

     

    Comrade Tan Xinjiao concluded by offering his heartfelt advice to all Party members and cadres, urging them to take the lead in studying ahead of time, for each grassroots Party branch to deepen their study further, and for all Party members to strive to gain even greater insight. He called on everyone to turn their learning outcomes into outstanding achievements, thereby celebrating the centenary of the founding of the Party and making new, even greater contributions to realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
