    Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Holds a Party History Knowledge Competition

     

    To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, look back on the journey we’ve already traveled, gaze forward to the path ahead, and once again set sail to present our heartfelt tribute to the Party’s centenary. After careful deliberation by the Party Committee of Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Electrochemical Group”), on May 20, 2021, the Group organized a Party history knowledge competition aimed at promoting learning through competition and further embedding Party history education into every branch and every Party member. A total of 15 participating teams from Party branches in Tan took part in this competition. Comrade Wang Jiong, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Electrochemical Group, attended the competition and served as a judge.

     

    This Party history knowledge competition consisted of two rounds, featuring four segments: mandatory questions, buzzer questions, risk questions, and audience participation questions. The atmosphere at the scene was extremely lively. During the mandatory-question round, the contestants from each team were evenly matched, with no clear winner. In the buzzer-round segment, teams worked closely together, driving the competition to new heights time and again. The event also included an interactive audience participation segment, in which Party members outside the venue actively took part and enthusiastically answered questions.

     

    In the fiercely contested morning session, the Party branch of the Wastewater Treatment Co., Ltd. emerged victorious, taking first place; the Party branch of Shareholding No. 2 came in second; and the Party branch of the Combined Heat and Power unit secured third place by a narrow margin. In the afternoon session, the Party branch of Shareholding No. 1 claimed first place, the Party branch of Group No. 1 placed second, and the Party branch of Chenfeng Logistics finished third.

     

    Since the launch of this event, all branches have responded enthusiastically, with broad participation from Party members. Not only has it enabled branch members to revisit the development history of the Communist Party of China and strengthen their patriotic sentiments, but it has also urged everyone to remain true to our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, strive to be pioneers of the times, and celebrate the Party’s centenary with outstanding achievements!
