    　　To commemorate the 101st anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and to revisit the spirit of May Fourth—“patriotism, progress, democracy, and science”—the celebration of the Youth Day and the 2019 Annual Summary and Commendation Conference of Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) were solemnly held at 9:00 a.m. on May 6 in the large conference room on the third floor of the Heling Production Base. Zhong Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, and Zhou Miqun, Vice Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union, attended the meeting. The meeting officially began with the rousing tune of the League Song. Zhou Miqun, Vice Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union, read out the “Decision on Commending the 2019 Model League Branches, Outstanding League Cadres, Outstanding League Members, and Outstanding Young People.” The conference honored three Model League Branches, 13 outstanding League cadres, 23 outstanding League members, and 22 outstanding young people. Secretary Zhong presented awards to the collectives and individuals who received honors as Model League Branches and Outstanding League Cadres.

    　　Secretary Zhong, on behalf of the Party Committee of the company, extended sincere holiday greetings to all League members and young people. He recognized their hard work and contributions over the past year to the company’s development, and put forward four requirements for the company’s League members and young people: First, remain firm in your convictions and set ambitious goals; second, study diligently and put what you learn into practice, keeping pace with the times and demonstrating a strong commitment to learning and growing together with the enterprise; third, cultivate good moral character and enhance personal refinement—League members and young people should always bear in mind General Secretary Xi’s earnest teachings and pay special attention to fostering sound moral sentiments; fourth, under the company’s guiding principle of “optimizing layout, emphasizing innovation, strengthening management, pursuing efficiency, and striving for leapfrog development of Xiangtan Electrochemical,” truly embody the Electrochemical spirit of “unity, pragmatism, innovation, and vigor,” be willing to dedicate yourselves, take responsibility bravely, dare to strive hard, serve as role models in loving your posts and working diligently, and set examples in pioneering and excelling. We hope that League officials at all levels within the company will continuously strengthen their sense of service, unite closely, and with even greater vigor and a spirit of relentless effort, contribute their energy and wisdom to the company’s leapfrog development, accumulate strength for their own growth and self-improvement, and always keep the May Fourth Spirit firmly in mind, constantly composing brilliant chapters of youth!
