To thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping—such as “redeploy Party members and cadres from Party and government organs at all levels as well as from enterprises and public institutions to bolster the frontline workforce for community epidemic prevention and control”—and in accordance with the unified deployment of the Municipal Party Committee, Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Electrochemical Group”) promptly dispatched three Party members and cadres. Led by Luo Shihong, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, they have been sent to the frontlines of epidemic prevention and control in the Keda Community of Heping Subdistrict, Economic Development Zone.
After attending the pre-combat mobilization and centralized training for community epidemic prevention liaisons on the afternoon of February 29, the epidemic prevention team immediately headed to the community to familiarize themselves with the local situation. Early on March 1, the team officially moved into the University of Science and Technology community. The epidemic prevention team proactively and actively coordinated work with community epidemic prevention personnel, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the community’s epidemic prevention and control situation. They conducted thorough inspections of each market and street-side shop within the jurisdiction, ensuring that all preventive measures were fully implemented. Additionally, the team assisted the community in carrying out various epidemic prevention tasks, including public awareness campaigns, door-to-door screening of key individuals, duty shifts at劝返 points, control of incoming vehicles and personnel, sanitation and disinfection of residential compounds, and management services for those under home isolation.
On the morning of March 2, Zhong Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Electrochemical Group, and Zhou Miqun, Head of the Party Committee’s Work Department, visited the Keda Community to meet with Long Guoqi, Secretary of the Community’s Party Branch, and learn about the community’s and the epidemic prevention team’s work progress. After learning about the shortage of epidemic prevention supplies in the community, Deputy Secretary Zhong Hong, on behalf of the Group’s Party Committee, pledged that the enterprise and the local community would join forces to fight the epidemic together. The Electrochemical Group will do its utmost to provide support in terms of epidemic prevention supplies, thereby helping the community to win the battle against the epidemic at an early date.
On the morning of March 3, Tan Xinjiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Electrochemical Group, along with Zhong Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and their delegation, delivered epidemic prevention supplies to the Keda Community as a gesture of care and support. They brought much-needed disinfectants and masks to the community workers who are steadfastly holding the line in epidemic prevention efforts. Secretary Tan first expressed his gratitude for the hard work and selfless dedication of the community comrades, emphasizing that they have built a strong defense against the epidemic at the grassroots level. The Party Committee of the Electrochemical Group attaches great importance to and strongly supports the work of the epidemic prevention teams stationed in the community. He urged these teams to conscientiously fulfill their duties, remain steadfast in their posts, and persevere until final victory is achieved.
