    　　To deepen the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and to create a festive atmosphere marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, the finals of the “Me and My Motherland” Hunan Million Workers Sing Together—Xiangtan Workers’ Voice Choral Competition, along with the opening ceremony of the 2019 Xiangtan City Workers’ Arts Festival, hosted by the Xiangtan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, were successfully held on the evening of September 5 at the first-floor studio of the Xiangtan Radio and Television Station. With patriotic sentiments sung loud and clear and the hearts of Chinese sons and daughters united as one, the chorus team composed of employees from Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Electrochemical Group”), with strong support from the company’s leadership and careful organization by the Electrochemical Group’s trade union, advanced smoothly to the finals thanks to their performance of the song “Love My China.”

    　　After a fiercely contested competition, the Electrochemical Group Choir ultimately won third prize in the finals. In this choral competition, the entire Electrochemical Group worked as one, showcasing vividly the excellent spiritual outlook of the company’s employees and embodying the Group’s commitment to “staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind.” The Group diligently implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, contributing its part to embarking on a new journey toward the comprehensive modernization of Xiangtan and presenting outstanding achievements as a gift to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
