    　　On March 7, 2019, Zhou Yanxi, Deputy Secretary of the Yuhu District Committee and District Mayor, led a team to visit and conduct a research trip to Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd., where they held a symposium with the company’s senior management. Tan Xinqiao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, along with other relevant company officials, as well as Yuhu District leaders Zhao Bo, Tang Junjie, and Zuo Yanhui, also attended the调研.

    　　At the symposium, Tan XinQiao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, provided a detailed introduction to the Group’s operational status and development plans. Over the past 60 years, Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. has grown into a modern enterprise group operating in various sectors including mining, manganese product processing, new energy materials, logistics, wastewater treatment, and overseas investment. The Group has two major production bases—Heling and Jingxi—and employs more than 3,600 people. In 2018, its listed subsidiary, Electrochemical Technology, achieved a total profit of 105.52 million yuan and paid over 80 million yuan in taxes. Looking ahead, Xiangtan Electrochemical will continue to adhere to the new development philosophy and implement a “dual-wheel” industrial development strategy focused on the growth of the new energy battery materials industry and the environmental protection sector, thereby achieving deep integration between capital and industry. Meanwhile, Tan XinQiao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, reported on several specific issues that enterprises urgently need local governments to address. Heads of various units from Yuhu District attending the meeting exchanged views and discussed ways to resolve these specific issues, and pledged their full support for the enterprises’ development.

The District Committee and District Government will do their utmost to formulate and implement effective measures to boost enterprise development and promote economic growth. The Yuhu District will further support the growth and strengthening of enterprises, provide comprehensive services, improve supporting infrastructure, and achieve mutual promotion and win-win cooperation. Looking ahead, the district will take a long-term perspective to help enterprises become stronger and bigger.
