On the morning of July 2, the company solemnly held a conference on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the July 1 Commendation Ceremony in the large conference room on the third floor of the new base. The conference was dedicated to commemorating the Party’s history, recognizing outstanding individuals, and mobilizing all Party members and cadres to forever uphold the spirit of struggle that characterized the founders of the Communist Party of China, remain true to our original aspirations, and forge ahead with determination. Tan Xinqiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, delivered an important speech. Wang Jiong, a member of the Party Committee, presided over the meeting. Senior company leaders at the level of general assistant and above, secretaries of Party branches, and nominees for commendation attended the meeting.
The meeting opened solemnly to the rousing and majestic singing of “Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China.”
First, Comrade Tan Xinqiao delivered an important speech. Secretary Tan led all Party members in reviewing the Communist Party’s 97-year journey and comprehensively summarized the achievements made by the company’s Party Committee in the first half of the year in playing a central political role and using Party building to drive enterprise development: The leading team members fully demonstrated their exemplary and pioneering roles, ensuring stable operation of production and business over the past six months, steadily advancing all tasks, and achieving the expected goals. The Party Committee has actively fulfilled its primary responsibility for building a clean and honest Party, incorporating anti-corruption and integrity education into the overall plan for Party propaganda, ideological work, and cadre education, thereby effectively enhancing the sense of responsibility and discipline among cadres. Moreover, the Party Committee has leveraged the bridging and linking role of mass organizations, providing paired assistance to employees facing difficulties, organizing interest-based cultural and sports activities, and carrying out volunteer initiatives for civilized city creation, further boosting employee satisfaction. Regarding the current internal and external situation facing the company, Secretary Tan put forward several requirements for all cadres and employees, especially Communist Party members: First, strengthen learning, further elevate political awareness, bravely take on responsibilities, and dare to act; second, reinforce implementation and further advance initiatives such as the “Party Building Leading Project,” the “Four Responsibilities and Four Commitments,” and the “Five Connections and Five Questions”; third, focus on serving the center, further enhance management, and promote the effective implementation of production and business targets; fourth, respond to the call and further advance efforts in creating a civilized city, promoting health and hygiene, and maintaining social stability and order.
Comrade Wang Jiong read out the "Decision on Commending Advanced Party Branches, Outstanding Party Affairs Workers, and Outstanding Communist Party Members," awarding the title of "Advanced Party Branch" to six party branches, including the Party Branch of the Wastewater Treatment Co., Ltd.; conferring the title of "Outstanding Party Affairs Worker" on eight comrades, including He Shengjun; and awarding the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member" to comrades including Yi Zhao.
The conference held an awards ceremony. Members of the leadership team presented awards to the units and individuals that had been recognized as “Advanced Party Branches” and “Outstanding Party Affairs Workers.” He Shengjun, representing the Outstanding Party Affairs Workers, and Yi Zhao, representing the Outstanding Communist Party Members, delivered inspiring speeches based on their respective work experiences.
The conference held a ceremony during which participating Party members reaffirmed their入党 oath. Comrade Zhou Miqun, head of the Party Committee’s Office, led the oath-taking. All Party members stood up from their seats and solemnly swore before the Party flag: “I voluntarily join the Communist Party of China… and will dedicate my life to the cause of communism…” The participants jointly revisited the Party membership oath, once again experiencing a spiritual cleansing and profound emotional impact, thereby further strengthening our confidence in striving for the cause of the Party and the people.
Comrade Wang Jiong put forward the following requirements for implementing and carrying out the spirit of this conference: All Party members and cadres in the company should take this commendation ceremony as an opportunity to carry forward the “spirit of daring to try, daring to venture, and taking the lead,” constantly maintaining their passion and enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship. With broad thinking and a wide perspective, they should contribute ideas and seize opportunities to achieve even greater brilliance and success in their endeavors.
