    　　On April 10, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government announced the assessment results for the city’s work on production safety in 2017, and our company was recognized as an advanced unit in production safety work for 2017.

    　　In 2017, the company focused intensively on three key areas of work: conducting comprehensive safety inspections, carrying out thorough hazard identification and remediation, and enhancing safety awareness education and publicity among employees. Taking the implementation of the “Year of Strengthening Enterprise Responsibility for Safe Production” campaign as a driving force, the company placed particular emphasis on preventing and curbing safety accidents. It earnestly fulfilled the responsibilities of enterprises, regulatory departments, and leaders at branch plants and work teams, accelerated the establishment of a hazard identification and management system as well as a risk prevention and control system, and effectively controlled the occurrence of various safety-related accidents. Last year, the company thoroughly publicized and implemented the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Promoting Reform and Development in the Field of Work Safety," fully enforcing safety responsibilities; comprehensively promoted law-based governance and strengthened safety supervision and enforcement efforts. The company established a “One List and Five Systems” framework for work safety, implementing systems for assigning accident hazards, maintaining records, closing cases, issuing notifications, and achieving zero outstanding hazards, with a hazard rectification rate exceeding 99%. At the same time, the company reinforced its foundational work in safety production, enhanced its safety assurance capabilities, deepened safety education and publicity, and raised employees’ safety awareness. Throughout the year, the company carefully organized a series of engaging, diverse, and content-rich safety culture promotion activities, including “Work Safety Month” and “Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law Publicity Week,” striving to create a strong atmosphere of “caring for life and prioritizing safety” and “always putting employees’ life safety first.” The company carried out the 2017 “Work Safety Month” campaign in depth, encouraging leaders at all departments, branch plants, and work teams to firmly establish a sense of red-line awareness, improve the company’s overall safety and civilization standards, and enhance employees’ safety competence—activities that received unanimous praise from leaders of the Municipal Administration of Work Safety and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

    　　In 2018, the company will continue to intensify its efforts in safety production and carry out safety work more thoroughly. The Safety Supervision Department will also consistently implement safety production responsibilities; establish and improve safety production management systems; further enhance safety supervision capabilities; step up law enforcement and penalty measures; further advance the construction of a hazard remediation system; and strengthen safety production publicity and education. We will ensure that the company’s overall safety production situation remains stable and continues to improve, thereby creating a favorable safety environment for building a world-class EMD enterprise.
