    　　At 9:00 a.m. on November 3, 2020, the oath-taking ceremony for new Party members of Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. was held at Dongfanghong Square. The ceremony was chaired by Zhou Miqun, head of the Party Committee’s Work Department.

    　　At the outset of the meeting, all new Party members stood facing the Party flag. Led by Yi Dan from the Party Committee’s Work Department, the 14 new Party members raised their right hands, clenched their fists above their shoulders, and solemnly swore: “I voluntarily join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party’s program, and abide by the Party’s constitution…” The oath-taking ceremony was solemn and reverent. The resounding vows of each prospective Party member expressed their loyalty to the Party and their determination to dedicate their lives to its cause. Immediately afterward, the secretaries of various Party branches pinned Party badges onto the new Party members.

    　　“As new-era Party members, our best declaration is to put our scientific and cultural knowledge to good use right where we are, perform our duties diligently, and shoulder the historic mission of ‘Heaven will entrust great responsibilities to those who are worthy.’ We must carry forward the spirit of electrochemical enterprise—‘unity, pragmatism, innovation, and striving forward’—and with high morale and enthusiastic dedication, focus on practical action, realize our personal value, and grow and progress together with our company. Let us strive tirelessly to achieve the company’s leapfrog development!” said Li Hua, a newly appointed Party member, in his representative speech.

    　　By organizing a swearing-in ceremony for new Party members, we aim to strengthen their Party spirit and moral cultivation, deepen their awareness as Party members, and enhance their sense of organizational discipline and mission. This swearing-in ceremony has helped new Party members gain a better understanding of the Party, enabling them to more firmly embrace the principle of serving the people, and reinforcing their commitment to pursuing their life paths and dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to the Party.
