    　　The 2020 centralized training program for Party members of Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Electrochemical Group”) was officially launched on September 10. This training program is divided into two sessions, with a total of 110 participants.

    　　In his speech at the opening ceremony, Zhong Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Electrochemical Group, emphasized that conducting rotational training for Party members is of great significance both for individual Party members and for strengthening the Party membership as a whole. He urged all Party members of the Electrochemical Group to: First, raise their political awareness, unify their thinking, and accurately grasp the importance of this round of training. They should strive to integrate knowledge with practice—using knowledge to guide action and using action to deepen understanding. Second, cherish this learning opportunity, endeavor to achieve tangible results from their studies, and ensure that what they learn can be put into practical use. They should genuinely pursue three “further enhancements”: further strengthen their political awareness, further reinforce their professional sense of responsibility, and further enhance their service capabilities, thereby fully demonstrating their role as pioneers and leaders. Third, strictly adhere to training discipline, adopt a serious and diligent attitude toward learning, and successfully complete the tasks set forth in this round of training.

    　　This round of training places particular emphasis on three key requirements:

    　　First, we will strengthen our study of political theory. We have invited Shen Junhua, Chief of the Party Building Section (Personnel Section) of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, to deliver a lecture on “The Provisional Regulations on the Work of Grassroots Party Organizations in State-Owned Enterprises of the Communist Party of China”; Zhong Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Electrification Group, to deliver a lecture on “Let the Party Flag Fly High and Show Our Style—Unite Hearts and Gather Strength for Development”; Wang Jiong, Member of the Party Committee, to deliver a lecture on “Strengthening Our Ideological Defense and Becoming Qualified Party Members in the New Era”; and Yi Dan, an internal trainer from the Party Committee’s Working Department, to deliver a lecture on “The Procedures and Requirements for Developing Party Members, as well as the Collection, Use, and Management of Party Membership Dues.”

    　　Second, we will enhance Party spirit cultivation and strengthen both the sense of teamwork and the spirit of competition. This training program includes a one-day on-site learning activity during which participants visited Shaoshan Honglv Camp for team-building exercises, experiencing firsthand the hardships faced during the revolutionary era and thereby inspiring Party members to foster a strong sense of solidarity and collaboration as well as a fighting spirit that is unafraid of hardship or fatigue.

    　　Third, we revisited the red history. We visited the Shaoshan Irrigation District Exhibition Hall and watched a promotional video, gaining insight into the construction process of the Shaoshan Irrigation District. Then, we took a hike through the irrigation district, personally experiencing the grandeur and magnificence of this great national project and deeply appreciating the selfless dedication of our forefathers to the country’s development.

    　　After completing these two sessions of intensive training for Party members, all participants generally reported that they had gained a great deal. They pledged to devote themselves to their work with even greater enthusiasm, put their original aspirations and missions into practice, and fully demonstrate the exemplary and leading role of Party members.
