On March 29, the 5th Session of the 4th Workers’ Congress of Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) was solemnly held at the Huayin International Hotel. The meeting was attended by 107 worker representatives from all fronts of the company and 80 attending delegates. On March 7, 2019, Zhou Yanxi, Deputy Secretary of the Yuhu District Committee and District Mayor, led a team to visit and conduct a research trip to Xiangtan Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd., where she held a symposium with the company’s senior management. On March 5, 2019, Zhong Hengqin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Baise Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Jingxi Municipal Party Committee, led representatives from the Municipal Party Committee Office, the Municipal Government Office, the Departments of Industry and Information Technology, Environmental Protection, Land and Resources, and Huru Town, along with township-level leaders, to visit and conduct a research tour at Jingxi Xiangtan Electrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. After three years of painstaking effort, Xiangtan’s journey toward becoming a national civilized city has been fraught with challenges. Thanks to the wise leadership of the municipal Party committee’s leading team and the concerted efforts of all relevant municipal agencies, communities, and citizens, Xiangtan successfully earned the title of National Civilized City at the end of 2017. Since May 2017, our company has actively participated in the city’s civilization-building initiatives.
